چکیده
Abstract We perform a full 3D general relativistic magnetohydrodynamical (GRMHD) simulation of an equal-mass, spinning, binary black hole approaching merger, surrounded by circumbinary disk and with minidisk around each hole. For this purpose, we evolve the ideal GRMHD equations on top approximated spacetime for that is valid in every position space, including horizons, during inspiral regime. use relaxed initial data from previous long-term simulation, where accretion dominated m = 1 overdensity called lump. compare our new spinning non-spinning run, studying how spin influences properties. analyze inner edge lump to hole, focusing angular momentum budget fluid minidisks. find minidisks case have more mass over cycle than case. However, both cases most received holes delivered direct plunging material also morphology variability electromagnetic fluxes, they share same periodicities rate. In case, outflows are stronger Our results will be useful understand produce realistic synthetic light curves spectra, which can used future observations.

Hot Settling Accretion Flow onto a Spinning Black Hole
We study the structure and properties of hot MHD accretion onto a Kerr black hole. In such a system, the hole is magnetically coupled to the inflowing gas and exerts a torque onto the accretion flow. A hot settling flow can form around the hole and transport the angular momentum outward, to the outer edge of the flow. Unlike other hot flows, such as advectionand convection-dominated flows and i...
متن کاملEnergetics and phasing of nonprecessing spinning coalescing black hole binaries
We present an improved numerical relativity (NR) calibration of the new effective-one-body (EOB) model for coalescing non precessing spinning black hole binaries recently introduced by Damour and Nagar [Physical Review D 90, 044018 (2014)]. We do so by comparing the EOB predictions to both the phasing and the energetics provided by two independent sets of NR data covering mass ratios 1 ≤ q ≤ 9....
متن کاملSpectral states and accretion geometries in Galactic black hole binaries
Black hole X-ray binaries, binary systems where matter from a companion star is accreted by a stellar mass black hole, thereby releasing enormous amounts of gravitational energy converted into radiation, are seen as strong X-ray sources in the sky. As a black hole can only be detected via its interaction with its surroundings, these binary systems provide important evidence for the existence of...
متن کاملBlack Hole Accretion in Transient X-Ray Binaries
Recent work on the modes of accretion onto black holes (BHs) in Soft X-Ray Transients (SXTs) is reviewed, with an emphasis on uncertainties affecting models of accretion during quiescence (inner hot flow, outer thin disk). Various interpretations of the quiescent X-ray luminosity difference between systems containing neutron stars (NSs) and systems containing BH candidates are also summarized. ...
متن کاملTesting Accretion Disk Theory in Black Hole X-ray Binaries
We present results from spectral modeling of three black hole X-ray binaries: LMC X-3, GRO J1655-40, and XTE J1550-564. Using a sample of disk dominated observations, we fit the data with a range of spectral models that includes a simple multitemperature blackbody (DISKBB), a relativistic accretion disk model based on color-corrected blackbodies (KERRBB), and a relativistic model based on non-L...
